Integrations

Slack

Connect a Slack workspace to your Glinks organization to resolve, search, and create shared go links without leaving Slack.

Private beta: The Glinks Slack integration is currently available to a limited group of customers. If your team is interested in trying it, email [email protected] and tell us a little about how you would like to use Glinks in Slack.

Connect a workspace after receiving access

  1. Sign in to Glinks with an account that belongs to an organization.
  2. Use the private-beta installation link provided by the Glinks team.
  3. Choose the Slack workspace and approve the requested access.
  4. Invite the Glinks bot to channels where you want automatic go-link replies.

Commands

CommandAction
/go roadmapResolve go/roadmap and share the destination in the channel.
/go roadmap https://example.com/roadmapCreate a shared organization link.
/go listList up to 25 organization links.
/go list roadmapSearch organization link names.

Automatic link resolution

When someone mentions go/roadmap or g/roadmap in a channel where the bot is present, Glinks replies in a thread with the destination. Variable links such as go/jira/PROJ-567 work too.

Slack resolves only shared organization links. Private links are never returned or created through the Slack integration.
