Privacy policy

Effective and last updated: August 3, 2026

Glinks collects only the information needed to provide and secure the service. We do not sell customer data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or track people across websites.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Glinks website, web application, browser extensions, and support communications (together, the “Service”). Glinks provides short, memorable links such as go/payroll that redirect users to destinations selected by them or their organization.

2. Information we process

We do not build advertising profiles, read the contents of destination webpages, or collect your general browsing history.

3. Browser extension

The extension redirects go/ and g/ addresses and stores the minimum local state needed to keep the extension configured. It does not read or transmit webpage content and does not monitor general browser activity.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate Glinks; authenticate users; organize and resolve links; enforce privacy, sharing, and role settings; support users; protect the Service; comply with law; and maintain aggregate link visit counts.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share customer data for advertising, marketing profiles, or data brokerage. Information is disclosed only:

6. Cookies and tracking

Glinks uses essential first-party cookies for sign-in, security, preferences, and limited first-party referral attribution. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. See the Cookie policy.

7. Data location and international transfers

Glinks is hosted on AWS in the United States, with Cloudflare in front of the service. If you use Glinks from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

8. Retention

We retain account, organization, and link information while the relevant account or organization is active and as needed to provide the Service. After a valid deletion request, we delete or anonymize information within a reasonable period unless a longer period is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, access controls, and secure password hashing. No service can guarantee absolute security. Learn more on our security page.

10. Your choices and rights

You can update account information, edit or delete links you control, remove the extension, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information. Applicable law may provide additional rights, including an objection to or restriction of processing. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service or law changes. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate.

13. Contact

Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
