Welcome to Glinks! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Glinks website, web application, and browser extensions (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Glinks Inc ("Glinks", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Glinks is a go-links service that lets individuals and teams create short, memorable links (such as
go/payroll) that redirect to longer destination URLs. The Service is available through our web
application at getglinks.com and through our browser extensions for Chrome and Edge, which resolve go/
and g/ links in your browser. We may add, change, or remove features of the Service from time to time.
To use most features of the Service you must create an account, either with an email address and password or by signing in with a supported single sign-on provider (Google or Microsoft). You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Accounts may be grouped into an organization based on your email domain. Organization administrators may have the ability to manage members, links, and settings within their organization, including links you create that are not marked private.
You retain ownership of the links and other content you create using the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Glinks a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit Your Content solely to the extent necessary to operate and provide the Service to you and, where applicable, to other members of your organization. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We may remove links or content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that we reasonably believe violate these Terms.
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Glinks and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as permitted by law. If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without restriction.
Some features of the Service may be offered as part of a paid plan. If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose, in our sole discretion, to provide a refund. We may change our fees or plan offerings, and will provide reasonable advance notice of any material change to recurring fees that apply to you.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content in accordance with our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services (for example, single sign-on providers and the destinations your links point to). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLINKS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold Glinks and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, India for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
