Terms of service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of the Glinks website, web application, browser extensions, and related services (the “Service”), operated by Glinks (“Glinks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy policy. If you use Glinks for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. The Service

Glinks lets individuals and teams create short links such as go/payroll that redirect to longer destination URLs. Features may include organization directories, link visibility controls, browser extensions, integrations, and Enterprise functionality. We may improve, change, or discontinue features from time to time.

3. Accounts and organizations

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your credentials and account activity. Notify [email protected] promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Accounts may be grouped into organizations. Organization administrators may manage members, settings, and organization links. You are responsible for authorizing administrators and configuring appropriate link visibility.

4. Customer content

You retain ownership of link names, destination URLs, descriptions, and other content you submit (“Customer Content”). You grant Glinks a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service.

You are responsible for Customer Content, destination permissions, and ensuring that your use of the Service complies with law and third-party rights.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• violate law or infringe another person's rights;
• redirect users to malware, phishing, fraud, spam, or deceptive content;
• gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• interfere with the Service, bypass security controls, or send excessive automated requests; or
• conceal a destination for a harmful or unlawful purpose.

We may remove content or suspend access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or action is needed to protect the Service or others.

6. Plans, fees, and payment

The core Service is offered free of charge. Enterprise is priced at $1 per user per month, paid annually, with charges capped at $500 per month ($6,000 per annual billing period). Enterprise features include fast support, guided setup, audit logs, custom domain support, and Okta or other SAML SSO configuration.

Unless required by law or agreed otherwise in writing, paid fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing for a future renewal by giving reasonable advance notice.

7. Privacy and security

Our Privacy policy, Cookie policy, Subprocessor list, and security overview explain our data practices. You are responsible for using link and organization access controls appropriately.

8. Third-party services

The Service may connect to identity providers, Slack, browsers, and destinations selected by users. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Glinks is not responsible for third-party services or destination content.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

Glinks and its licensors own the Service, software, design, and trademarks. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or obligation.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, legal requirement, security risk, prolonged non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLINKS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. GLINKS' TOTAL LIABILITY RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100.

13. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Glinks and its affiliates against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from Customer Content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your material breach of these Terms.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Bangalore, India will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
