Using Glinks
Owners and visibility
Every go link has an owner. Ownership and organization roles determine who can change it; privacy settings determine who can see or resolve it.
Owners and admins
- The person who creates a link becomes its owner.
- Owners can edit and delete their links.
- Organization administrators can manage any organization link.
- Use the dashboard's owner filter to find links created by a particular teammate.
Visibility options
| Setting | Who can see or use it |
|---|---|
| Organization link | Members of the organization who are signed in to Glinks. |
| Private | Only the owner. It is not shared with the organization. |
| Public | Anyone with the organization URL can resolve it without a Glinks login, if the organization allows public links. |
Public only controls the Glinks redirect. Google Drive, Jira, Notion, and other destinations continue to enforce their own access rules.
