How Glinks handles security

Glinks uses a deliberately simple infrastructure and collects only the data needed to run the service.

Infrastructure

• Hosting: Glinks is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States.
• Network edge: Cloudflare sits in front of the service for DNS, traffic delivery, and network protection.
• Encryption in transit: web traffic is protected with HTTPS.
• Access: authentication and organization roles control access to private and shared links.

Data practices

We do not sell customer data, use it for advertising, or track people across websites. The browser extension does not read webpage content or collect general browsing history. We use account, organization, link, and limited operational data only to provide, secure, and support Glinks.

Link access controls

• Private links are visible only to their owner.
• Organization links are shared with authenticated members of that organization.
• Public links can resolve without a Glinks login only when both the link and organization allow it.
• Organization administrators can manage organization links and member roles.
• Enterprise plans include audit logs.

Subprocessors and data location

Our only subprocessors are AWS and Cloudflare. Service data is hosted in the United States. We do not use additional subprocessors to operate Glinks.
